Master weaver Sundaram spent 18 days handcrafting a pure zari silk saree, only to sell it to wholesale aggregators for a fraction of retail value. His smartphone photos taken in the dim weaver shed could never compete with airbrushed luxury retail catalogs.
Using Pehchan on WhatsApp, Sundaram simply snapped a phone photo on his loom. The engine extracted the rich gold zari motifs, generated a 4K royal palace studio backdrop, and wrote Tamil and English ad copy highlighting the 200-year family weaving lineage. Within 48 hours, direct wedding orders poured in through WhatsApp.
